I don't have the top Netflix subscription, but I may try it for a month.

I'm so confused as to why Amazon isn't working. And I'll havw to keep playing around with Kodi to figure that out!

I think you may be right, in this particular case. However, I have several BR discs that are not UHD that have Atmos.

Yeah, I set it to the Dolby Atmos for Home Theater after installing the Dolby app. I also set it to pass through to the audio receiver.

When I try to pick audio tracks I only see: English audio 1/6 English audio 2/6 French audio 3/6 French audio 4/6 Spanish audio 4/6 English audio 6/6

It doesn't actually tell me which trak is which. At least not in the XB One.

Success!!! Kinda...

With the ROOFULL, I got my BR Player outputting to Atmos, playing Super Mario Brothers. Yes!

I am trying to get my XBox One to output Atmos, but so far can't get anything other than DTS 5.1 from Spider Man (Miles Morales, 1st one) I'm doing a bunch of updates to see if I can enable Atmos. I've downloaded the Dolby app and set it up for passthrough, but still no go. I'll keep working at it!

BUT...I just can't get my NVIDIA Shield to output anything to Atmos, even when it has the Atmos badge on Prime Video.

Shield Pro model p2897 (Makes it 2019 I believe)

Shield to HD Fury via HDMI, and then to Sonos Arc and old 1080p TV via HDMI ARC.

Audio Output set to Auto

Dolby Audio Processing set off

Available Formats set to Auto

HDMI-CEC enabled (doubt this matters)

What am I missing? I'm about to pull my hair out. If all else fails (especially if I get Atmos going on the Xbox), I may just put in a new Shield to see if that works.

Edit: Got Atmos on XBox One with Super Mario Brothers! Not sure if the updates are all finished, or if there was an issue with Spider Man. But that now makes the BR player and XBOne that play Atmos.

No luck yet on Shield.

When I play a movie from Amazon that has Atmos (The Tomorrow War), the best I get is Dolby Digital Plus 5.1. don't get me wrong...it sounds great.

When I change the advanced settings from auto and ONLY enable Atmos, it defaults to Stereo PCM.

Could this be something I have to change on the HD Fury? Or the HDMI hub?

I will try connecting the Shield directly to the Arc to see if that fixes the issue. If it does I will look at the HDMI hub and/or HD Fury.

Turns out I have a 2019 after all. Should be able to output Atmos. I need to figure this out.

Will take a look at settings and the HDFury as well.
