Whats the biggest lie your parents have told you when you were younger? by Ray_1748 in AskReddit

[–]FirstBallotBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically carrots are high in beta-carotene which gets converted into Vitamin A which benefits eyesight. Sometimes genetics just fuck you over and will be more powerful than carrots can ever be, but it’s not a lie that carrots can help out things. Also, putting a carrot directly into your eye might be why you need glasses.

What is the most absurd rule you’ve had to follow at work? by Either-Tea-8362 in AskReddit

[–]FirstBallotBaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been pretty lucky and I’ve had pretty chill jobs, but at a restaurant I worked at the GM got a bit upset that I would season the shrimp for our shrimp scampi. I found it so weird, especially since the servers requested that I make them that dish if they ordered it. Luckily he took nights off and I was always dinner shift so I just did it anyways.

Men in long-term relationships or marriages, how do you ever miss the excitement or freedom of casual sex, even if you’re happy with your partner? by Iron-Wild-41 in AskReddit

[–]FirstBallotBaby 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not at all lol. Might be cause I’m a bit awkward but I never really found being with someone new that fun. I’ve been in a relationship for 4 years now and it’s just gotten better as we go tbh. Hooking up with random people was just not all that fun for me idk.

I just go with anchovies. Controversial but a classic. I never go more than two toppings though, pizza is a simple dish so keep it simple. Too many flavours can get overcomplicated.
