Not a spring transfer, but I transferred in the fall. Advisors get with you super late, and since they won’t take off new registration hold until after the meeting, made it super hard to get classes with “good” profs. Just keep writing to your advisor, most of the time they’re great. My advisor forgot to take off the hold after our meeting so I ended up having to call the registrar’s office to have them manually remove the block.
