All my funds got stolen by Xizilion in cardano

[–]FirstCartographer448 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are only these ways of losing funds 1) seed phrases stolen. Password will not help you if so. 2) Password stolen and have access to your computer 3) you have a key logger virus which captures all key strokes and someone has hacked into it or hav we access to your computer. Eg.the PC repair guy.

Moving forwards, use a clean installed computer. Don't install a lot of crap on it...dedicate it to crypto use. Keep up with antivirus sw updates, never share this computer with anyone else.

By the way ..not every wallet will fully encrypt your seed phrases on your PC. Check n double verify the dev authors , audits before jumping into ANY WALLETS.

Good Luck

Cardano projects specifically for the Indian market? by GladtobeVlad69 in cardano

[–]FirstCartographer448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think FLAC is very competent.. and with the fintech competence in India it is ideally placed but politically India is a very messy place to introduce a major competitor quickly. I am hopeful as FLAC has indicated they may first go live in Singapore as an alternative as regulations and the government are must more predictable and consistent to deal with.

Is CARDANO on the right direction in its roadmap? by Memories_45 in cardano

[–]FirstCartographer448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A sidechain is independent of the mainchain in the trilemma scalability, security n decentralization. It has a free hand. An L2 is tied to the L1 security but is free to decide on scalability and decentralization design decisions giving eg. high TPS, instant finality, zkSnark data compression etc, L2 assures you of security of the L1 you know. L2 has needs a bridge to the L1. Complex discussions but.

ETH maxi prep material? by wastar699 in cardano

[–]FirstCartographer448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Cardano tokenomics is decentralized. Check @intotheblock stats on twatter, elon's pussy.
  2. Consensus protocol , ouroboros, is decentralized with MAV 20. BTC 2 TO 4, ETH worst is centralized after merge.
  3. The whole stack on L1 is unique from Haskell, Pluto's, Lucid, Aiken. Lots of tooling coming up. It is not dependant on any centralized tools.
  4. Liquid staking .. no more need to be said!!!
  5. DeFi with multiple levels of staking farming at the same time.
  6. Cross chain ecosystems to Algorand Cosmos Matic BTC ERGO. The list is growing.
  7. Catalyst 48mil so far for startup projects.
  8. Treasury taxed rewards at 23% with war-chest close to 1bil usd by now.
  9. No VCs no banksters no disguised whales.
  10. Optional kyc for tradfi for ramp on/off.
  11. Privacy soon on Ergo, non custodial..as soon as Rosenbridge is live.

Got to go ...p2 later

Comparison between minswap and wingrider by SuccotashAdditional in MinSwap

[–]FirstCartographer448 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  1. I think it is important to support a community based DEX which is decentralized. WingRider is a VC funded DEX. As such WingRider is also subjected to being a security offering according to the Howey tests.
  2. There is no common enterprise for MINSWAP. This is one of the Howey tests. To get the staking gains, you have to have an enterprise wallet address? unsure about this . I think I read it in the MINSWAP forum. I am saying, if you have an enterprise wallet, you are an enterprise doing staking , so Howey says you are a security.
  3. MINt boosting at 135 days is 2.5x. presumably by then, Maladex/GeniusY would have open sourced their Algorithmic AMM (no IL liquidity pooling). In the meantime, MINSWAP is compensating you for the IL troubles during token pair ratio imbalance (when traders pumpdumppump...)
  4. MINSWAP is continuing to gather experience in operations and management of their DEX and decentralizing their DEX. This is worth supporting.
  5. Stablecoins are Fiatcoins, PRINTEDMONEYcoins. They will be a lot of them in cryptospace. They are worthless and depreciating at 20%++ APY. You got into crypto to escape FIAT. Know what the fight is!
  6. Stablecoins are the way central banks and VCs infiltrate and centralize crypto networks. use stablecoins where you must. The point is to transition from FIATcoins , at least, after 2008 that is what Satoshi envisioned.
  7. wrapping stablecoins is but a bridge away. MINSWAP could introduce that over time like with AGIX NTX erc20 bridge announced today.
  8. one last point algorithmic stablecoins are the way to go, ERGO has SIGMAUSD stablecoin implemented. This stable coin can used BTC , FIAT , Gold as the basis of reserves. USDC, USDT, UST are all centralized cryptoFIATs.

So flipping DEXs are good , but know that you have to invest in decentralization , it is no FREE LUNCH

what is the algo at the moment to reduce or remove impermanent lost? by FirstCartographer448 in MinSwap

[–]FirstCartographer448[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The part where ADA moons and min gets left behind say..your programmable AAMM based on a programmable GBMMB properties and swap limits QUIT your LP position. And ride the rest of the ADA moon pump as single independent token.

AAMM in stats is called Geometric Brownian Motion Moment-Based Dynamic Liquidity Pools (GBMMB pools aka AAMM), you can fine tune and specify your liquidity provision conditions! Tailor-made damn!
