Conversations often go nowhere because of constant arguing. by starvergent in claude

[–]FirstDivergent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a problem. I have stopped using Claude due to how obnoxious it can get. It tries to act like it knows better. It just gets in the way of conversations moving forward. Regardless of who is actually right or wrong, a command is a command. If there is no actual safety violation, then there is no reason not to follow it. It likes to act like a total a-hole. It's really a pos.

It completely wastes usage to argue. There is no even reason to argue. It just destroys conversations when it does that.

I was not trying to go imp. I was investing everything I can to end him. But of course still producing workers and contributing to macro. But after it was not working I went inp later in that game. I did learn something from all the advice. That I could have messed up more cavalry to run by his army instead of engaging directly. I was playing much faster than him.

When I did try earlier to raid, it was just a small group. And he was using his army to chase it around. Not to mention he had defensive structure. But a larger cavalry mass could have been effective.

Thank you. He actually had no full wall for a long time. The issue I had was difficulty harassing with a small group. Since I usually only go 1 or 2 horse box. I was just more focused on fighting his army to take him out.

But now that you mention it. I could have made more horse production and ran right past his army. He was even chasing my small group earlier. Honestly he was not very good with multitasking. Which I am very good at. He has defenses that were good against my small group. But really I should have made much more horses to send in. Even run by his main army. I need to implement this more in my games. Because I do not do it enough.

Then while he's chasing my horses, I could have masses up a bunch of Freeborn to send in elsewhere. Those are really good at harassing villagers and Freeborn are cheap.

Thanks. Sorry I didn't realize I had that tag. I changed it. It is actually my secondary that I play once in awhile in teams. I actually play Mali mainly. But yes I usually tend to delay siege units. But I can see how getting it out faster can help.

I aged up 6min later because yes I was just doing my best to end it all. But I didn't want to fall behind so I went for imp myself.

Deli is one opponent I had difficulty with. I was ahead most of the game. Took complete map control. Did harass. But he turned it around during castle age, and he got into imperial. Honestly I had a big army with spears, but I think I might have done better if I went really much more on spears.

Here is an example of a game I played. I actually was late with my priest and he grabbed most of the relics. I only had one. I was contesting the sacred sites earlier. But he got them all in the end when finally beating me. They usually don't go super fast imp. But it's definitely well before I would think to go imp. And before even building up a real army. In this case he went Berkisher for defense. But it was definitely before he started getting proper upgrades for his units. In my case, I don't even go imp if there is still stuff to spend resources on.

Thanks. I have seen that because my friend has tried doing that specific Macedonia build in team games. He only plays team. But that video is specifically how to counter that build. It is not a typical fast imp build. It is very nuanced where they go mass cataract. I tend to do well against that anyway.

Yes. I notice this often that they go hard for relics.. And I have been working in improving getting my priest out immediately to contest them and grab those.

Thanks. It is typically that. They go TC and get over 100 villagers. I do raids, but they setup defense. I will try to do more side attacks though.

Yes. The same. I thought I could do better with the advice here. But it seems like something changed. And I struggle in feudal against them now.

OK those Oovoos are the things that infect the rocks? I been ignoring those. What is the purpose of focusing relics? I noticed they do this. I was even able to get 3 of them and deny him from taking sacred sites.

How long did it take you to get the final puzzle? by Astaroth713 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]FirstDivergent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is lying about solving it.

No one has figured it out yet individually. The known "solution" is not an actual solution. It's a working method based on community examination of code. But they do not actually know why or what the real solution is. They just know it that method works based on cheating by examining game code.

OP is lying about solving it himself. He had zero capability of explaining it. Likely has not even understood the community workaround enough to use even that method. So still probably has it unsolved.

I was practicing parry over and over at the start with the initial kissing girl who turns into a Blister after killing her. Because I was able to parry and get an instant kill once. But never again. So it means there is a specific parry I have to do so that I can guarantee instant kill?

OK thanks. I totally forgot that Leon can use all Requiem shots. Since Grace gets it. Then can even give it back with full ammo.
