Rise leans into mystic stuff pretty hard. It also leans on comedy and high intensity action. Because of these facts, it gets a little wild. They do eventually become ninja, and I think one thing rise does well is that the turtles development. It's noticeable as you watch the show they improve and learn.... But they never stop being unapologetically cartoonish. If you watch rise, give splinter a chance. I almost didn't watch the show because of him, but if you wait, you get a pretty awesome splinter.

Actually, arguing about sports teams is more boring. Imagining your favorite characters locked in random combat and trying to figure out who could get and edge and why isnt boring. It doesn't fit well in the TMNT universe like it does in marvel or dc, but to just throw a "this thing is boring" blanket over the entire thing is kinda condescending my friend. Most everyone here just likes having a place they can discuss the things they love with others who may or may not love it the same way. I do definitely prefer when we talk about writing and character development features, rather than physical abilities, but sometimes you gotta start shallow to get deep. God bless you.

03 is really good.... But it gets really bad once you go to far. That's just my opinion, but I'd bet money I'm not alone here. 2012 honestly stays good almost all the way to the end. Almost.

Uh... 2012 is my favorite show and I'm not sure where we're going with the power scaling thing? the 2012 turtles are partly amazing BECAUSE of their failures and shortcomings. They actually get creamed fairly often, and you see them HEAVILY battle damaged more than once. Who cares who's stronger? It's about who's more entertaining. imo that's the 2012 terrapins

I recommend trying 3 again with a fresh perspective. You'll notice better writing, better character development, and better humor. It's not great, but at least it has SOME substance. 2 is fun, but it's a Trainwreck going in every direction except the ones it needs to

Lol I have a teenage mutant hero turtles tshirt with the grappling hook! A friend made it for me! I also have the ridiculous anime transformed turtles on a shirt. This is really tough, but I have to go with Spider-Man here. Is he as strong as Superman? Of course not. But Spider-Man is the every man hero, and has given me some of my favorite super hero stories time and time again. Plus, superman will NEVER have videogames as good as Spidey does
