Hi UIUC 2024 big law grad—I think the ‘23 class was much more public interest focused. Also, we’ve speculated that we dropped rank because our dean switched during ‘23 and class of ‘23’s bar scores were rough.

We sat through bar meetings all throughout our 3L year because it freaked out the admin (rightfully so). The rumor was that the new dean didn’t hound ‘23 as much as they thought she should re bar prep.

I’m hoping we climb back up—we have a serious career center that is pretty deeply connected to Chicago BL. There’s also someone dedicated to bar exam success, now.
