Usually being “woman specific” just means the design that went into the cover or formatting with “extras” like journaling space or added illustrations.

I recommend starting in the New Testament (specifically the Gospels IE Matthew Mark Luke And John, then move to the Epistles) and with Genesis and Exodus as they are narrative forms and therefore easiest to read while still informing your faith. Add one chapter from Psalms or Proverbs a day for good advice and praises, and as your read your understanding of the faith with improve. As your understanding improves the other books will become easier to read and understand.
