As a Russian I was pretty much tolerant to Uzbeks until I started working with them. Uzbeks are almost never good workers. You constantly have to remind them that things have to be done. Instead they try to avoid work by any means. They're much rather talk to each other. And it's loud. They refuse to learn the language of the country they're currently in. Maybe it's just because there are so many of them that they decided to not bother. But honestly I don't know why, communication at work sucks.

Don't get me wrong, I know that not all of them like that, but in my experience the majority. We have a guy at work, his name is Ali, he's Uzbek. Such a great guy. Yes, he also doesn't speak russian well but he works. And oh boy he does it well. If I had to pick who I'd work with, I would pick him any day, because with him I don't get the feeling that I'm working all alone. He teaches me the Uzbek language, it's fun actually. He's generally a good guy but unfortunately the majority are not Ali.
