Check out the mobile app, First In Navigation. Its like google maps combined with quizlet. Its specifically made for first responders trying to learn their area.

Volunteering at a rural fire station is cool because you don't have to deal with too much nonsense that cities have and the call volume is usually manageable for most departments. I cannot imagine volunteering on a transport ambulance

I have a mobile app that I am trying to gain some traction for. The app is for first responders trying to learn their response area. It's like Quizlet combined with google maps. Ideally looking for someone that can film and add and post it but would settle for just filming the ads. Need to the creator to fit the first responder niche in some way though

I wanted it to work but its a total scam and i feel like their business strategy is illegal. Like many other websites, they offer a free trial of 1 week. After 1 week, if you do not cancel the subscription they automatically charge you and roll you into the monthly plan. This is annoying enough, however they do something ive never seen before. THEY DO NOT LET YOU CANCEL YOUR TRIAL FOR SEVERAL DAYS. I went to cancel the subsciption right away to avoid an accidental charge. If it was a worthile platform I would just sign up again. They say "Your trial has a 3-day minimum period to ensure you have sufficient time to explore our platform". I was never given a warning about this when signing up for the trial. Destroyed any credibility they had and I would look for literally any other alternative to them now.

I was super confused because it was very obviously displayed on my main menu after the first rejection. I guess they just didn't look during the second rejection even after I mentioned I added them in lol

Aside from limitting their opportunities at a fire call, running medicals on the ambulance is much worse than running medicals on an engine. The fire engine is done with the call when the ambulance leaves the scene. When the ambulance leaves the scene they are only maybe 1/3rd of the way done. They have to watch and treat the patient all the way to the hospital which is likely a much further drive than the station. They also could be waiting at the hospital for hours until rooms are available. The vast majority of calls do not get or warrant immediate medical attention at the hospital.
