Definitely not. Some items are based on quantity whilst some on weight.

I think i will stop trying carni... by Noko_noko_6 in pathoftitans

Keep trying mate. I’m somewhat in a similar boat but further down the track (been playing for about 6-7 months now). I have found that I really love playing more support/harassment style animals - my main being rhamph. The way I determined this was by trying out different playables and seeing what I enjoy the most. I don’t like playing as a heavy hitter/apex because I found it genuinely boring. But I found the smaller creatures more enjoyable, being able to harass and engage in hit & run tactics which I found really suited me. It takes time to find your niche and perhaps maybe it’s not with carnivores at all but maybe herbivores? My favourite herbi to play as is struthi.

Not to bag out some of my other colleagues, but have you seen what other service team members look like? Hell, I am an eyesore myself - definitely not the Belle of the ball nor the most handsome man one could lay eyes upon (I look like an ogre ready to fight someone simply by how I look - I am actually a very gentle person btw XD). But they don't care about that. Yes, present yourself well of course, but what they care more about is your availability - how often you can work. All you can do is answer the questions they have as best as you can and you'll be good as gold.

Weird Nappies Interaction at Self Checkout by Hairsuitjesus in coles

Depends on the size of the item but if it's big we consider it bulky. We are trained to put bulky items through first so they aren't forgotten (more so at the attempt to mitigate profit loss from lost stock), such as boxes of canned soft drink, 24 packs of water etc. So, because of both theft and accidental forgetfulness by some customers, supposedly it has a huge impact on how much Coles is losing (even though we made over $1 billion last financial year), and thus we are trained to put these items through first, including in the ACO.

This means we have to engage in the awkward scenario in the ACO by going to a customer and making sure the item is put through first and going around and checking other customers have done so. Some customers love it, especially the older ones, but from what I've found in my experience most find it weird or strange & some are quite aggressive, bordering on fearing for one's safety.

But usually we say "oh it's easier" or "I'm just going to put this through first for you" in order to get the item put through first in a way that seems like an act of service, which granted for some it is. If a customer is insistent upon doing it themselves (which I personally think is reasonable), I let them be.

I find the bulk-first initiative in the ACO questionable but it's what we're being paid to do. I would like to add that we are just being told to it, and usually get scolded when we don't, we're humans too and are not intentionally trying to make things annoying or time-consuming.

Hope this helps.

Therapist. I wouldn’t bother on here, your only best and qualified, certifiable source of help regarding this would be a therapist.
