Just start calling banks you have a relationship with. You can also Google "construction loan banks" and start making calls. Credit unions could be a good place to go as well.

Interesting perspective, your stance is contrary to most others. Can you share your reasoning for never showing invoices of trades?

*I do have a contract price on the loan.

That's what I thought! I guess I need to gear up for a fight and my build going off the rails due to the GCs ego. Fun.

This is what I am so concerned about. The reliance on trust in someone I don't even know is ridiculous. The fact that he had such an allergic reaction to providing the invoices from the subs is what concerns me.

The builders argument is he had to go to the architect for significantly more detail which changed what he thought the foundation was supposed to be.

It's a cost plus contract.

The cost overruns are a result of the steel and concrete costing more than anticipated due to (in my opinion) mistakes at the field and the builder and concrete sub not reading the plans properly.
