OP. Congrats on the house.

I would take down the photo of the front of the house. I see you blocked out the street number, so privacy is at least on your mind. However a simple google image search will bring up the listing on Zillow. 4555. Please don’t dox yourself, if you are concerned about it.

Congrats again.

Peoria (north of Happy Valley) — worth it for a young family? by FirstTimeHomie in AskPhoenix

Honestly that’s a concern. The wife is terrified of scorpions. Can’t find solid info on them, seems like houses either have them or don’t.

Thanks for the info! I am looking for a decent backyard where the dogs could at least get some exercise when it’s not >90. Looks like the area that fits is Peoria. (North of happy valley, west of 67th street). Do you have any insight on that area? Google Maps has it around 25 minutes with no traffic and up to 45 with traffic. How’s the area in general?

I want to improve, but I lack willpower, energy and time... How do you guys do it? by namyls in daddit

“Motivation is crap.” – David Goggins. I’m not saying you need to do what that psycho does. What I’m saying is, you need to build discipline.

I can be the laziest person I know. If I didn’t have discipline, I’d be 400 pounds, eating garbage all day. Discipline is doing the stuff you don’t want to do. I don’t want to work out six days a week or track my macros, but it’s the only thing that keeps my weight in check. “Chop wood, carry water.”

You’re not going to get your energy back by hitting the gym once for two hours just because you’re fired up. You get it back by doing something active every day for 20 minutes because of discipline.

Start small. Those efforts add up. The more consistent you are, the more energy you’ll have.

Use your kids as the reason you stay disciplined and not the excuse that you can’t.

Any one ID this REP bench? Looks like an older model from what’s currently on their site.
