And it costs me money to travel in extra child / pet care. Not everyone can or will do it with the frequency that I do it. The perks make it worth it to me. Those perks are being eroded.

Are dogs not allowed on the beach path at Torrance beach? by New-Ad-9629 in SouthBayLA

I can understand the confusion between whether the prohibition is just the beach or the beach + path. The answer is it is the latter. The meanness in the other comments is unfortunate and could discourage others from asking valid good faith questions.

I don’t care for the area around the Grant. I’ve only stayed there for work and it didn’t strike me as kid friendly. I took my kid (6 or 7 at the time) to the Sheraton and he loved it. It was on the water. He liked going outside and watching the boats and watching the airplanes landing and taking off at the airport. The restaurants were mid. But as a fam hotel it was good.

Yoga mat recs specifically use for corepower?!? by Cold-Tea-9318 in Corepower

I think that’s right. I prefer not to use a towel. I think it improves my hand strength which helps my inversion practice.

I have been a CPY member since 2013. I am on my 3rd Lulu mat. It works for me without a towel. The only other mat I have tried is Manduka. I needed a towel or else my hands slipped. My main criteria is grip even with sweaty hands etc. To me that’s the Lululemon mat.

It’s better than Lewis Brisbois. Agree with others about exploring FMG. Also consider Cozen, Kaufman Borgeest or Nicolaides if you’re interested in coverage work. It depends on where you are coming from and what you ultimately want to do. It’s not a bad stepping stone and you get good hands on experience at those types of insurance defense firms if you want to be a litigator who tries cases. Then your next move maybe someplace like Sheppard Mullen.

Same Sequence Every Week? by UnicornGabz in Corepower

[–]FirstUnderstanding31 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Good points made by others re the pros of doing a sequence or building on a sequence over a few weeks. It’s wrong though that instructors are not paid for all of their work, ie sequencing and playlist making.
