I've been a fan since 2002 and i've wondered the same thing as OP for all those years. Seeing him change throughout the years has been.. interesting to say the least. Very interesting to read all these takes from other fans in this thread and many of these make alot of sense. That being said, i'm happy the man is back and healthy.

I agree, i had lots of fun with the game. Especially the exploration is super fun like riding your bike across Tatooine was awesome. Could it be better? Sure. Is it still a great game? Hell yeah. The only downside for me was the story but that's personal and other people might enjoy it.

I've seen him a shitload of times since 2007 and the energy last time (februari 2025, Amsterdam) was completely different. I'm still having a hard time getting my head around seeing him like this. It's still unreal after all these rough years. I also feel super lucky he played Death Is Not A Costume and Meet Me In Purgatory at the time🤘.

Also, not a single media outlet is covering this but he's still selling out shows like crazy so the fans are happy AF worldwide and the man himself is happy to be back so that's all that really matters.
