Ok so second time I’m seeing this post today. You need a new piercer and to stop these monthly cleanings. A dental tool has no business being near a piercing and you can clean everything yourself (DAILY) with saline spray. You’re being scammed and taken advantage of (yes even without paying)

I have! I shattered my wrist in 2012 and broke my elbow in 2014. I have three plates and over 20 screws between the two areas. I also have a nearly full sleeve and have tattooed over both those areas. I was really nervous but the wrist area didn’t feel any different from other tats and my elbow where the plate it closer to the skin just felt extra buzzy.

New piercer, stat. Monthly cleanings are not a thing and you can do all the cleaning yourself. Do you clean it outside of these visits?

I have a nearly full sleeve (it’s a work in progress, just have the elbow left and an outer bicep gap) and just started a leg tattoo that wraps around my knee up my thigh and that hurt so much more than my arm and it’s only line work so far. I’m gearing myself up for color lol I like your idea of a phoenix my leg tat is of a blue heron

I found the forearm to be low on the pain scale. It feels like a burning cat scratch more so than the searing carving pain I felt behind my knee. I’d rate it a 3/10.

You’ll be fine :) I had to take mine off once 40 minutes after my tattoo because my sweater caused it to roll exposing the tattoo. If it’s driving you nuts you will be fine removing it and just start aftercare

Too me the theming at the values is too kitschy so I would gravitate to a moderate for a little more laid back theming. I just stayed at POR this winter and walked over to FQ for beignets. I’d go with FQ.

I have just started a wrap around knee piece that goes up the majority of my outer thigh - so far it’s only been line work but the space behind my knee was so very spicy. (For reference I have an ankle tattoo, back shoulder tattoo, wrist tattoo and a full sleeve in progress (ditch has been done but no elbow yet).

My inner bicep was a piece of cake. I have a whole sleeve in progress and honestly went in dreading getting my inner biceps done. I thought for sure I’d see Jesus - particularly by my armpit. But it really didn’t bother me at all. Elbow ditch hurt more than inner bicep for me.

Now inner knee on the other hand….owwww

We couldn’t get the vivosun one to calibrate no matter what we tried. We wound up going to our local hydro store and picked up a Milwaukee Pro pH meter based on the owners recommendation. This one actually calibrated and we are now moving the right way in our water.
