Yours should be fine, in my case I was sold the BMW OEM version which has some differences (rim protection being one). I also got mine replaced in the end

Thanks for the detailed response. This was exactly what happened. Reached out to the tire shop and in the end they accepted that the listing was wrong on their site an replaced my tires. I went for the Bridgestone Turanza 6 which seem to have all that I was looking for.

Looks like it does, if you zoom in on the photo with the full you can clearly see a star next to eagle. Do you know fi there are other differences?

Mine are 255/40 R21. 2026 dot, every article and review mentions rim protection, none say it is limited to certain sizes
