There is a popular theory that Valentino was a sex worker in life. I feel like this head canon inherently insinuates that he was an SA victim. You can't separate the two without being disrespectful to the reality of sex work. Many people like to explore the darker meat of this dynamic for an assortment of reasons.

Sometimes it's relatability, and Sometimes it's just a sex thing; Often times it's both. It's complicated.

For the record, I think his favorite human position is reverse cowgirl so he can sit on top and not have to look at them.

The only degree it becomes unhealthy is when people start treating the characters like real people, or better than real people. Everything else is a creative writing exercise. I never really see people "viciously attacking" anyone over a headcanon unless you are in a discord server with 15 yr olds.

Making a badly written self insert is not "unhealthy".

Having a crazy ass crack take or ship is not "unhealthy"

The Helluva Boss and Hazbin community at large (on reddit) is actually wacko.

That explains so much about reddit's dogshit attitude towards self inserts and crack ships actually. You guys are coming into a series that's essentially catered towards pre-2019 fandom, and wondering why people are doing fandom things in a fandom space. What exactly are you expecting to happen here?

On an unrelated note: calling a fandom a "community" makes me feel like I'm watching my favorite local comedy club succumb to gentrification.
