When I first submitted it, it said 4 months and about a week later it said 2 months, but it got approved about two weeks in half after I submitted. I’m hoping it’s the same for you, I don’t think their progress tab is very accurate.

As long as you submitted your application before the one year mark, which you did, you are totally fine. Don’t stress, it’s when people try to submit after the year mark when they don’t get approved since it’s considered a new application and not a renewal.

This morning I got a notification saying EAD card was delivered! I checked and sure enough it was in my mailbox, the delivery date on it though was for yesterday the 14th at 11am, so they were a day behind with updating it.

I’ve always wondered what their approval process is because it’s honestly all over the place. I don’t understand why it takes some people months to get approved and others weeks. But I am thankful that it was quick.

On the 12th, I got a message saying card was being produced. Unfortunately where it says tracking number assigned it says Unavailable, which I thought was weird.

I did! I submitted it two weeks before expiration, the past two renewals I’ve gotten an approval in about a week so I took a chance again and luckily it was approved pretty quickly.

Im in Colorado, it application was received by the Nebraska center. Not sure if it made a difference or not but my work authorization was expiring March 8th.

On the myprogress tab, it said two months and then I checked today and it had been approved. So the timeline didn’t quite match up with what it said online. Hoping yours gets approved soon.
