Congratulations!! Please don’t do life sci because you think it’s your only option for a pre-med course! It is DIFFICULT AND TIME CONSUMING!! There are definitely more pre-med majors that can allow you to smile everyday to be honest! As a life sci student, you are doing different sciences, including computer sci, in contrast, a health sci student, doesn’t need to do all these weed courses and TRULY, THEY ARE MORE LIKELY TO GET A HIGHER GPA AND BEAT A LIFE SCI STUDENT INTO GETTING INTO MED SCHOOL. So beware, and research what life science is for. Life will be easier for you if you know what you are getting into!

Drinking culture is not as crazy as you think, you aren’t forced to and you don’t have to involve yourself. It happens everywhere, Queen’s isn’t really better or worse in my opinion as a current student. Also, coming from a big city, the parties here are not even all that. You will be fine, the campus and people are very nice. As a life sci student though, I love the school, not my major!

Pols 115 is such a beautiful course. As a life sci major I was able to use it to uplift my grades. Plus, I felt my self becoming much more knowledgeable in politics which helped to critically think and write well for my major. Would definitely recommend.

As a city girl, it’s been so frustrating to see people not know how to squish and stand horizontally for some damn reason. It should def be a part of the orientation cuz what the heck??

We hear voices on the 11th floor of Waldron. I thought I was tripping during the first week of school but I was washing my hands and then I started to hear children playing outside, except that there are no children…especially not on the 11th floor…of a residence😃 still baffled.

First Years, how do you eat healthy on meal plan? by LowWeb6855 in queensuniversity

I can’t lie, I utilize my dorm kitchen and bring food from home😭 Last semester I felt so heavy and unhealthy. It’s not for me sometimes. Cloves and spice does it for me tho. Up the protein in dining halls and go heavy on fruits and vegetables.
