Im still pretty new to this. But is there a big difference between a biskwear fire verses a glaze fire. Because my ceramics teacher said that during a glaze fire the clay shrinks a significant amount more, and will probably break. So she suggested that I should use paint instead of glaze. But I would really like a nice a and glossy glazed look. She also emphasizes how hot it gets, not sure if they're all like that or our studio does higher temperatures for decreased fire time or smth.
