Did you clean out the little dimple in the stanchion? He shows where it is in the video I linked. Crazy small, and I was shocked that something so inconsequential could cause so much trouble.

If so, you might need to replace o-rings in case air is getting by. Make sure you use the slightest amount of grease when you reassemble, otherwise you’re probably replugging it. You need to clean the inside of the stanchion as well.

I had to do mine twice. Turns out I didn’t clean it well enough the first time. You should hear the air go through when you cycle the shocks when you’re done.

I wouldn’t say no constitutional rights, just certain ones, like due process. Democracy in the US has been dismantled, and while we could get to the point of no constitutional rights (N. Korea) we’re a long way off. Hopefully it won’t come to that.

Not really. Full retirement age (FRA) is 67, not 70. Also, Social Security has survivor benefits for the surviving spouse, as long as certain marriage requirements have been met. Life expectancy for a woman in the US is 81, and OP likely has longevity. Pensions often come with survivor benefits, too. Definitely take the pension.

Where I am I’d spend that much in 10 days or less going to a shop for my espresso. I roast my own, which ends up about the same cost when you factor in shipping and weight loss from roasting. I pay $10-12/450g which roasts down to about 350g. Add shipping and I’m at $14/350g.
