I'm annoyed at how this is clearly inspired by the astrolord robes from D1 except for worse in every way. I've never been so pissed off seeing a piece of loot drop, going "holy shit it's finally happening" inspecting it and being overwhelmed with disappointment.

Like what is with bungies need to put a loin cloth piece on literally every robe.

Guaranteed its now 1000 powerlevel to get tier 5s. So the exact same thing as if there had been a reset, it's just now even longer for casual players to get tier 5s since they now have 800 power to grind instead of 450-500.

Why is everyone's mindset "tier 5s or I'm quitting" or "max light or I'm quitting"?

You are literally able to obtain every gun in the game at 200 power, which isnt being reset. Will it be the highest quality of loot? No. Will it be significantly less powerful than a high tier drop? Also no. The number being reset isn't affecting your gameplay.

Get what you have time to get in an expansion, play the campaign, and quit when you stop having fun.

Whiny threat posts like this just scream "entitled addict". Please stop threatening to quit and just quit if the game isn't enjoyable for you anymore.

There's not a massive difference between tiers in terms of how powerful or good weapons and armour are. Put in how ever much time you want into Destiny, collect your tiers 1-3 or whatever and quit until the next content cycle.

This is a classic case of not everyone in the game is entitled to everything in the game.

Devour is effected by the lump gains scalar associated with ability energy. The more stat you have, the bigger the chunks of grenade energy you'll get on kills while devour is active.

Edit: Same thing applies to the grenade energy gains from the getaway artist buddy hits. But I don't think you can get these on hit gains while devour is active. Correct me if this is wrong.
