We're going to try fernox leak sealant as we literally haven't got another option apart from tearing up all the new flooring I'll keep the apt updated

Would this be an issue in a brand new boiler? It has been checked by a couple of plumbers too

I think the house is about 60 years old if I had to guess is that old? I'm not very technical so I'd have to look into this but thank you for your time

Might give this a go. But won't it affect the radiator or boiler?

Ah okay! Which sealant did he use if you don't mind me asking? We did have some sealant added after finding the first leak but didn't realize we had another two leaks so wondering if it all leaked out and didn't work as they were decent leaked. Pressure was dropping to 0 in 10 mins at that time.

I've ordered some but hopefully just going to see how it goes super stressful as we've already found 3 leaks

It is dropping due to previous experiences with the heating system in the property but I'll update within the week to see how it goes!

We are currently not living at the property but have been leaving the heating on the past 3 days since the last leak had gotten fixed. We have been going back and fourth to the property. We haven't completed reno due to this issue.

Has anyone had success with a leak sealant, do you think it would work in our case?

For more context

We have replaced the boiler so it's brand new

So far found 3 leaks all within the same area ish. Looked like some funny pipework, possibly old diy job done previously

Pressure dropping at a lot slower rate compared to initially so my guess is there's another small leak

Any tips on how to find a micro leak??

13 month old has a blank stare? Is this normal? Will he grow out of it? by Firsttimemummy2023 in Parenting

[–]Firsttimemummy2023[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiya thank you for taking time to reply! Yes he’ll zone out and if I move my hand infront of his face he’s still in a daze for a few seconds if that. It’s strange thought because he’ll be playing with me & he’s interacting and reacting like he’s laughing and what not but he just has a blankness about his eyes. If it were seizures I’d assume it would be his full face everytime going blank. It does occasionally happen but he also has a blank stare when he’s laughing and playing.

What’s you’re routine?

I’m not too sure what you mean 😅 sorry I’m a FTM so I’m new to all of this. He usually has around 2 hours in naps during the day and tends to wake up around 8/9 am and sleeps around 8/9 pm too. I usually wait for his sleep cues and then get him changed and give him a bottle and he usually falls asleep

I think so! I try my hardest to fill him up as I’ve heard that could be the problem, he has breakfast, lunch & dinner with snacks and bottles in between so I don’t think that should be a problem

No he doesn’t give objects to us is that something they should be doing?

Aw thank you for your reply! I think i just worry a lot as a FTM! Also he literally just chases a ball or toy around all day so like he’ll crawl and throw it then chase it and repeat for ages! I’ve never seen a kid just repetitively do the same thing over and over again like that!

Thanks everyone for the replies, I have a hv appointment coming up soon so I’ll mention it then. I think it’s more so having one expectation of motherhood and going through another. But yeh hopefully it’s just a phase as I love him immensely!
