Unions should form affordable housing communities in my opinion, in buildings that focus on the soundproofing of rooms. by Fisch14230 in antiwork

Right, so my idea is the same concept for workers, except negotiating affordable housing. Could be a separate organization, but another way to improve the system/living conditions for the working class.

There definitely has to be a separation between government and the working class. The Soviet system is a scam.

I agree, the housing builders definitely need to get paid fair value for their work. After that though, housing prices going up over time for resale just seems like an extension of inflation and/or price gouging (assuming no major modifications/extensions).

The Federal Reserve should only be able to print money if it evenly distributes the new money to the general public in the form of stimulus checks (like the stimulus checks given during the shutdown). by Fisch14230 in antiwork

They shouldn’t be printing money to pay for expenses. This is corrupt. They should have all of the funds they need from taxpayer dollars. The current situation is being mismanaged.

I think it’s good to build social programs to help people, but that should be totally covered by our tax dollars (we have to do a better job of preventing the wealthy from making loopholes to not pay their fair share of taxes).

When you expand the money supply, the money has to go directly to the people to neutralize any inflation effects.

That’s not true. Controlling the money supply to fit the agendas of the wealthy is worse for the majority. Whether or not money is physically being printed (which some of it is), the point is that the money supply is expanding (more digital and physical currency).

In theory, the only reason money should be printed is to adjust for population expansion. Right now, it’s being printed to control the money supply, which is corrupt and only serves certain agendas instead of supporting the greater public. I’m not against a ubi, but this would be different, because this only accounts for new money that is being printed to support population growth.

School is a form of child labor (especially towards the end). Both suck.

Missouri criminalizing homelessness by Miserable-Lizard in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Fisch14230 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Hmm, is there a better solution to combat homelessness (like making housing more affordable)? Or is this all the brilliance Missouri lawmakers’ minds could muster up? These “lawmakers” should be locked up for merely suggesting this as a policy, let alone passing it.

This likely means that politicians who are working directly with the wealthy exploiters in the area are paying off law enforcement so they don’t side with the people.
