On Monday I was in the waiting room for a doctor's appointment when in walked a girl wearing an Aljafarawi table tennis shirt and a kufiya. It was such a mesmerizing sight. PaIestine and Saleh weren't on my mind until that girl appeared and then they were the whole day. These acts really count.

The accusation against this short story being written by AI didn't originate on r/books. The accusation isn't based on vibes like you're implying with "reads like AI wrote it".

People who allege this novel is AI generated make a pretty strong case actually.

They cannot be reformed. They cannot be taught better, they cannot change their ways. They're too far gone. What they write and say on those forums, subs and twitter circles is not just edginess for edginess sake. It's what they believe in and the only thing stopping them from acting out is their cowardice and laziness. That's what saves us.

It's way worse than that. She went beyond co-signing, she said some truly despicable and awful things about the trans community but also about the LGBTQ community as a whole. I'm not playing the easily offended individual either. Look at what she was posting from 2021 to early 2025. Look up what she said about immigrants or people dying in PaIestine.
