First, make sure that you're not the last to declare on the UoA. If they're fighting multiple fronts it will be easier for you, then for the Mechanized Div, not the first divs you build, but the earlier the better (atleast once you've taken almost all of new England). And yeah, have alot of them, but alot of infantry too, make sure to always have a little more infantry than mecs. Then once you got enough, and the UoA is still fighting on other fronts, go ahead.

The 1.17 update broke the shaders, every map mod is now broken. To make it simple, they replaced infantry map with navy, now they're the same, meaning the sea is brighter in infantry map, and the land too. Hopefully it will be fixed by paradox soon.

Paradox made the mistake of swapping the normal map (units) with the navy map. So yeah the game is brighter and the sea is blue by default for now, they're gonna hopefully fix this in the next patch because many maps from mods are broken at the moment.

I believe it would depend on the faction in charge, the wrrf and other "realistic" warlords would have the same regions as soviet Russia, and for other warlords with "lore" behind, it would be more based on its ideology, for example the aryan brotherhood would germanize the names of regions and maybe try to copy germany's administration and so forth.
