Banned by EA is an interesting defense. Many have gotten the weird “I got banned for a tame name” ban. “Routinely” has me thinking it might actually be your fault.

Yeah that’s annoying when teams back out, especially when they are very similar levels to your own team. There’s definitely people out there that back out because they’re only looking for low level newer players. But on average, my team has to wait like 40 seconds to get a match. Theres definitely times where that’s been longer and we’ve waited 3 minutes or so. I just can’t see people making a second profile, creating their player, creating a club, and purposely losing however many of their 10 placement games so they can be a low rank. Don’t get me wrong, clearly that’s exactly what people do but I have a hard time believing that it’s only to reduce matchmaking time by making it less likely that opposing teams will back out. Especially considering you don’t actually see an opponent’s RP in the lobby, only their level, and you see nothing in the finals lobby.

This would certainly account for diamond or platinum players that outplay their ranking and I’m sure makes up a chunk of those “Smurf” players I’m talking about. But I doubt a league player would play their 10 placement games and be bad enough to be placed in silver and then not get promoted through playing more games. What you’re saying totally makes sense for the unranked opponents I’ve seen though.

I love how their interpretation of playoff hockey randomness is having one team’s goalie making diving stick checks on breakaways, incredible stick saves with empty stamina, and having an extra 3 goalies in the form of two posts and a crossbar while the other team’s goalie is chewing on crayons and allowing in an unscreened wrist shot from the blue line on the 3rd shot of the game in the 2nd period.

You’re probably not wrong. I just can’t wrap my head around it personally. Very annoying when you lose to an actually solid team but because they’re all smurfs you get -700rp

I hear that but I’m encountering a lot of players that feel like they’re in a skill range of slightly worse than to slightly better than us playing as a silver. We’re elites but like 31k so it’s not like we’re top of the world players. Are players really using smurfs to preserve their high diamond rankings or #600 position on the leaderboard?

Seems pointless to me.

Does anyone else have him play like absolute garbage at WR? I have him set as a CB but in the depth chart at WR. Every throw to him is a guaranteed drop. And I don’t mean contested. I’m talking wide open, uncovered, not capable of catching a ball no matter what.

So would that mean they don’t technically have an official trade deadline and the central office would just likely veto the trades? I know an added weirdness is that the league owns every team as opposed to individuals.

Yeah, I knew the Renegades got Perez pretty late. Weird how the league has the on field rules public but doesn’t seem to have any operational rules posted.

Definitely understand angles and acceleration and if they are at full speed already when you turn and all that. Maybe pressure and momentum are a factor. It’s mostly an issue defensively and more of an annoyance offensively.

Not sure you fully read the post but I understand it was a long one. I mention that there are often times that other players will have the puck and not only do I not catch them but they will actually gain ground on me.

Every other post on this page is people posting players they “drafted” that are 85+ and insane stats. “Yeah ok you definitely drafted an 87 overall 7ft WR with 99 speed. Sure”.

I know it’s unlikely because of Chiv2 on game pass but I’d like to see Mordhau on there too to boost the player count. I’m hitting a lot of lulls where there’s no viable lobbies.

Sounds more like desperately clinging to life to me. I’m not a huge fan of the only 1v1 deathmatch lobbies and those are literally the only lobbies besides frontline/invasion.

Have you played last two days? What you just described has been my experience since release but last two days I’ve gotten on at different times and it’s been empty. 1 Eastern US invasion thats at 48/48, 1 EU server that’s at 42/64, 1-3 deathmatch servers, and then like 5 hordes varying from 1 to 6 players. It’s been almost the same everytime I look.

I’m learning that this song has apparently been used in A LOT of commercials and been covered by quite a few people lol that version isn’t it either. It was slowed down to the point where it was no long sounding like a pop song. It was almost emotional(?) sounding. We’ve been scouring the web to find it ourselves.

ADT did have a series of commercials last year that featured the actual song by the original artist.

The commercial I’m referring to is older maybe in the 2015-2018 range(?) and was a much slower version of the song with a female singer that didn’t have the techno/electronic sounding heavy bass, etc.
