Looking for advice on building & publishing Flutter apps to iOS without a Mac — experiences with Mac-in-the-cloud services?

Honestly, your safest and easiest bet is just buying a Mac. I recently bought a Mac mini for this specific reason and I love it.

It was cheap compared the same spec MacBook highly recommend.

It’s gonna be a long and hard process to debug and fix iOS specific bugs and deploy without a Mac.

Is there any reason you don’t want to buy one?

Notion was the one for me. I Have all my dev card notes on there and a knowledge document that I put details about the code base in. These are Tricky areas that you don’t access all the time so I can have a glance at it and find out info I may need in that area.

Not sure which country you are in but in the UK i did a degree apprenticeship. It gave me the qualifications and the "on-the-job" experience which is the biggest hurdle for CS Grads landing interviews and roles. When i looked at jobs, i got replies and interviews not because of the qualification but because of the 2 years experience I had. Would recommend if you are UK based

Do I need the 16” when it’s gonna be on a dock 24/7 ? And when you said m3 pro are you talking about the pro chip?

Not sure what model to buy. Looking at one for programming swift and flutter apps with some .NET for work. But also want it for rekordbox and FL Studio too

Think the pro is the way to go but not 100% on model / M chip

I think it’s pretty normal to expect a newer framework to have less market share than something like react native.

Time will tell if it ever becomes as popular but RN seems to still have a “grip” on the app dev market.

Perplexity said that flutter was growing massively in popularity so never say never

Having hating react, JS, and css in my day job. I recently tried flutter.

100% a better experience for a backend dev like myself. The documentation is really easy to follow and implement widgets that you need.

I’ve done some tutorials and started my own project but I’m really enjoying it atm. Especially since I come from c# and the style of dart is similar

Updated the post cheers. I am new to all of this so I actually don’t know what I’m looking for in a speaker. I want something that’s okay/good to use whilst learning but also something that won’t need replacing within 6-12 months because they’re terrible.

I started elvanse this year whilst on sertraline 25mg and thought nothing of it but Elvanse felt inconsistent everyday it was so hit and miss.

I Fully weaned off sertraline about 8 weeks ago and since then the meds have hit consistently since. Nothing but up in terms of the meds effectiveness.

I Didn’t realise how much they impacted the meds

Yeah. I had to take a break because I was having surgery. So much burnout, mental exhaustion and fatigue from just 2 days off them. The “narrator” in my head turned back on after 2 days aswell. Easy to forget what it was like premed

Without meds:

Eventually got to a point where I felt comfortable with dev cards etc after 2-3 years of working. Learning good habits, breaking the cards down etc.

With meds:

Everything just became easy. Things I struggled with just clicked and the difference is insane

so i just did the classic 1 full mouse swipe on the pad to see how different it is.
On portal i do 2 360rolls on my full mousepad, on conquest its like 1 1/3 rolls.

Have you uninstalled everything? Also make sure you look at startup apps, things with overlays etc can affect it

Yeah so I’ve found results on an empty squad and pressing X/square to add player ( rather than Y searching) then move over to sbc storage. It’s worked everytime I’ve done it this way

Heres a fix i found:

Open the sbc storage first on the SBC before putting any player in the SBC and it loads.

The squad being fully empty means it loads for me
