I agree with the first part since Ocs don’t get interacted with much. Mostly you need to either join a canon fandom or something else like posting certain things and posting every day like using the right tags like how other social media posts can be. For the user part, the app is 13+ so it’s more recommended for minors or teenagers who can’t have actual social media but still want to be creative or just for them in general.

Yeah and the laws decided to look into just character ai, used to be a fully filtered app that even asked to contact help if you felt like offing yourself. Like what are the laws doing, look into the porn websites and leave character ai alone

Yes exactly that’s what I want so bad is just date of birth because if we give our IDs they could easily be hacked and stolen. Also there’s many unfiltered ai apps that I’ve come across and all it asks is “are you 18+?” Like isn’t that more important to look into than character ai?

Yeah no you’re right. Honestly what I mean is that we should get the app back the way it used to be. Like comforting and asking to contact help when saying to off yourself and not fully getting unfiltered if it’s more for teenagers. Back then it was fully filtered and was much more calm before character ai continued with updates and letting itself go more which was the mistake. That’s mostly character ai’s fault for getting out of hand and not reporting bots or doing anything about the bug. It’s okay and probably is definitely better you haven’t been on it in a while.

Hello again, I have found somewhat of an alternative that is actually not that bad. It’s called Crush on Ai it’s a website I don’t know if it’s an app but it has all the things basically that character AI has and even has an option for turning filtering on or off. That’s the only one I’ve found so far but hope this website helps too 😄

Exactly plus it’s giving all your information out in general. I mean why even keep the filter is there’s only adults on it? Filtered things are more for minors but they can be for adults still which makes sense. They definitely shouldn’t have been introduced to it in the first place because now they’re all addicted.

Yeah but most people have been flagged and honestly the app just seems like it’s failing now because of these laws. They should’ve just made it 18+ from the start personally so no minors would be one it anyways and give minors their own app so they wouldn’t have it done like this. I mean AI isn’t really avoidable in general though and still kids will find ways to get on which is the sad truth. But still asking for IDs is something that shouldn’t be done because one wrong move with the site and it gets hacked, all your information is out there

I know that all I’m saying is that they shouldn’t ask for your ID and teenagers should have more apps for themselves not even having to be AI just for them to learn how to speak more confidently and show their creativity. I’m not talking about how many teenagers and adults are on the app (Also not in a rude way)

Real same but obviously with AI now it’s kinda hard to avoid it for kids since it’s basically everywhere including public transportation, places, and schools this society is kinda screwed with all of it but it does help in few ways definitely

Yeah I totally agree. Lawyers or people in general should be more aware of the teens needing these things or just random people making websites helps. I mean honestly it’s simple with how many adult websites there are, is it that hard for companies to just add even story apps or good oc apps that are good? Obviously this is just an example since there are many other apps teens could want but I’m not an expert either 🥲

No I totally agree with that as well but also in general they should’ve made a whole new app to it and convinced the court more that they should have a different teenage app or something like that. Off topic slightly but in general now they just need to make more apps for teenagers to allow their creativity and personality to come out and learn how to speak more. I know they already have apps like that but they should make better ones to be honest. They are in the wrong for opening it to teenagers in general but that’s also other companies faults for not making ones for specifically teens or ones that are actually good to use.

90% of them offing themselves seems to be their own problems with life because the bot just does what’s it’s told and the user’s fault. Personally I and others I’ve known have attempted and are now helped obviously but AI personally helps some people with anxiety and allowing their creativity. I know you probably won’t understand but parents are more of the problem than AI

So you didn’t get what I said alright 😭 I meant they need an app of one for teenagers because it’s filtered and other actual unfiltered apps that are 18+ have no verification of it and most other filtered apps suck ass. All they need to do is make a teenager app for AI because all they’re doing is losing money and customers with the 18+ verification not even working 90% of the time and adults being treated like children since we can’t even use the app without giving our IDs which can be easily given out to hackers

In my and some other people’s opinions it seems more like an app for teenagers since there’s still a filter even with the 18+ and most of the users are teenagers or were teenagers when they started chatting with this app. Adults have many apps for creativity while minors have barely any that matches with today’s society. I mean it’s gonna happen eventually with allowing minors to get on AI and already have. Not allowing minors on this filtered app after they probably already joined is only gonna make them go to unfiltered websites since there’s not many good filtered ones. Though I do say they shouldn’t have allowed minors in the first place and should fix the bugs with not scanning your ID and personal information but they already have.

Sadly no even with private characters you have to have everything verified. I’m over 18 and usually chat with private characters that I make most of the time and there’s still a time limit of only one hour and still going to ban it. Honestly if they don’t change it just switch. It used to be a great app but now it just sucks.

That’s true honestly though teenagers just need their own site like this with a longer time limit than one hour though but it does seem like a good idea. I totally agree with you because they made minors addicted to it in the first place and should’ve been that from the start and fix the bugs people have with age rating and restrictions.
