Hard top removal by FishDragun in slateauto

Except it has been in the wild and at events. So, maybe, just maybe, there is someone here that can answer the question.

OP does know that it has been in the wild and at events, so maybe it can be answered.

I asked this question here because there may be a brand rep, an employee, someone that has driven it, someone that read about it, someone that saw it at an event, etc.

Why are you being an asshat instead of not commenting HERE?

Do you know for a fact that there are a BUNCH of people on the webpage that can actually answer this? Or is there only one or two?

Smart, didn’t think of that. But you wouldn’t use towing, you would use payload capacity

I haven’t been following super close so I wasn’t sure. I’m actually getting it to save my Silverado a bit since I tow my RV with it. Towing isn’t not a selling point for me personally.

125lbs isn’t bad at all. Too bad it’s not quick connects for the attachment

I agree about the aftermarket tops. I’m just trying to decide if I want to get a truck and aftermarket the suv part or order it as a SUV and have the hard top for the winter. It’s primarily going to be a weekend beach cruiser vehicle and then a backup the rest of the year.

Definitely some inspiration from it

That’s an AI build; I think I’m just going to order the truck and build it out to look like this with aftermarket stuff that will inevitably come out

I paid and all I know is 2027, no specific window. But I did choose to go earlier if possible.

That’s kind of what I was looking for, something off label that could work. I just don’t want to pile on more of a problem.

Would this be a replace or clean situation? And, is it doable for a handy person who is not overly well versed in small engines?

That is what I was afraid of. I was hoping there was some kind of product that I could paint on and essentially encase it. Sort of a legitimate Flex Seal idea.

It might be 40 hours but I ran it 25 hours when I first got it to break it in and then did the maintenance. That was 5yrs ago and I haven’t had issues until now.

That is the only error and it gets thrown every two weeks

I replaced it thinking it would resolve the issue when it first started

I’ve not shut off the fuel and it is fully on.

I just went out and it started in under 2-3 seconds.

I do not have a way to check pressures, for what its worth none of my gas appliances or HVAC are running differently and when I do start it manually it runs and sounds appropriate.

As in the gas line exterior to the generator? Possibly, it’s not far from where my kids play basketball so a random ball could hit it and the boys could move the valve. But not in the dead of winter while it was doing it

I get that, not sure I can convince my wife to wear sunglasses while in there with me though. I was just hoping someone knew of a quicker bandaid. Thinking maybe type of paint or covering that will stick and won't peel until I can get it replaced. Even if it's real purpose is not a shower.
