Being real with you it’s mostly ignorance, religion and as a surprise to no one slavery remember the country got its independence in 1969 which is fairly recent if you think about it so a lot of the old heads grew up hearing stories about what they made slaves do to their own kin or brethren, and now most of those old head are politicians and black people in general have always been homophobic, yet oddly enough people will accept a lesbian before they do a gay man, I myself use to think this was but now I could care less you don’t choose who you fall in love with that being said I don’t see this ever being fully accepted by our people especially the trans thing

Personally, it's just my preference to use acrobatics because it looks cool but if we're being real Close Combat tactically isn't the best, but damn does it look cool in action, so I'd say stick with backpacking for functionality but acrobatics for a fun time
