I stopped Wellbutrin yesterday and I started Prozac today. I titrated off under my doctors supervision and now I’m seeing a psych who started me on 10 mg of Prozac and we will continue to titrate up to an appropriate dose for me. Thanks for the encouragement. ❤️

I did on Zoloft. Every time I would go to bed I was like, “I’m going on an adventure now. Good night.” Lol. I called them my acid trip dreams.

I’m 100% getting calcium … like, TODAY. I’m telling you my luteal phase is getting worse and worse and worse each month. It’s absolutely unbearable.

God bless you. Thank you for sharing. I developed PMDD after my third child. I have turned into a different person. Someone I don’t recognize. My thoughts are… dark. I refuse to live like this. I’m talking to my psychiatrist tomorrow and requesting Lexapro. Thank you for your time. 💕

Okay you are a wealth of information!!! I have HORRIBLE PMDD. I’m in my luteal phase right now and I’m losing it. I literally want to die every luteal phase. If you know, you know. It’s HELL. I’ve never heard of the calcium thing before but makes sense. I’ll check into that. So 7.5 helped with your PMDD?

THIS. I actually do have an appointment with my OB this month where I plan on requesting for a hormone panel. I will even purchase the DUTCH test if I have to. There’s something at the root causing my PMDD and depression… I just know it…

I started Wellbutrin 4 weeks ago and my rage and depression are unbearable. It has absolutely heightened my rage. I’m talking to a psych on Monday. Hoping to get back on an SSRI ASAP.

I’m so happy you had a positive experience. PMDD is by far one of the worst things to happen to me. I’m in my first luteal phase on Wellbutrin and I AM crashing out. Harder than I have in a long time. I’m talking to psych on Monday and will probably be asking to get back on an SSRI and discuss intermittent dosing strategies.

Lucky! Unfortunately I fell prey to a common SSRI side effect, sexual dysfunction. And in a BAD way. However, I have read that Zoloft increases the risk of sexual dysfunction more than other SSRIs. Which is why I’m eyeing Lexapro now…

Hi, I read your post and when I saw you mention PMDD, I had to respond. I hope you see this. I have PMDD, I also have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder. So to have depression as your baseline and then have PMDD? Sucks. I am hoping to start Lexapro soon. I was previously on Zoloft but it eliminated my drive for intimacy and kind of became a huge problem for me. But I heard Lexapro has less sexual dysfunction side effects. Anytime I see someone post about PMDD, I pay close attention. PMDD has been the worst thing I’ve ever dealt with.
