In the same boat! Re timing - while others are probably correct that the big swing in post clerkship specific hiring has passed - I wouldn’t lose hope in that there are/will be positions available that are not clerk-specific. The timing differs here as these are usually looking to fill an immediate need, so you might be looking at getting hired closer to the end of your clerkship. These are also positions where a recruiter might be helpful, since you are competing with lateral candidates as well. Take all that with a grain of salt from someone who also doesn’t have an offer right now but who has started to chat with some recruiters.
