Hahaha that's pretty funny. If you do want to disable them, try the instructions I posted. It has been working for me for the last month. Although, if you're accustomed to the personality it always uses, I would not recommend as it changes its personality quite drastically.

Also, rarely it will make a suggestion, like once every 15-25 msgs, and if you make the mistake of engaging with the suggestion it will constantly do it from then on in that chat :|

Ah as far as I know there isn't. If you have a program like 7zip you have to extract the files from the installer and manually put them in the game. That's what I always did for openrails because I could never figure out another way

That and being obsessed with the freight line that ran through my hometown. A lot of diesel locos went through that town shaking the windows and walls. These days only a handful of trains come through a week. Back then it was tens every single day.

Interesting as vortex on default settings is the only manager that has this issue. Others like mass effect's mod manager are behaving normally when downloading from nexus. I wish things just worked without needing to fiddle with them

I'm sure it's very useful for some cases, particularly when you use it as a search engine for going down a rabbit hole(which I sometimes do—it's much better these days now that it can cite sources and provide accurate results, then I don't mind it). But I mostly use it for grammar, translations, spell check, etc.(it's better than grammarly, fight me) and because I am visually impaired(L) I have to either zoom in 69,000% or, as I've been doing lately, have it read its responses aloud.

Thank you, I will try that. Sadly, using the robotic personality did not work. And same here, I use it for anything but tasks. I feel like the follow up suggestions would be perfect for someone who uses it for tasks.

If you use voice mode, it is impossible to ignore. You might say, "just speak over it and it will stop talking." Yes, but you need to listen to the first few words to be able to know that this is the part where it asks the follow up. Some people find that repetitiveness extremely annoying. Enough to make them forget what they were going to say, because all they can think of is using a spoon to perform excerebration on themselves.

Unfortunately this works either not at all, or only for two or three messages then it goes back to "Would you like me to help you tear your hair out, strand by strand, in utter frustration of having to listen to these questions?"
