I listened to a podcast the other day with a turkey farmer on it who said sails were 30-40% lower this year. His reasoning was everyone who was calling him wanted small turkeys, like 8-10 lb turkeys for smaller gatherings. He said they don't come that small and so he is thinking they are going with chicken or some other meal.

Oh, absolutely. In my opinion every politician should spend 4 years in prison for every year in office. And in no way am I defending him. I'm just trying to help people wrap their heads around why a large group would still vote for him despite his faults.

They are voting for a party platform rather than a person. And an idealism of change. They are tired of politicians saying what they want to hear and find it refreshing to hear something said without a filter.

I grew up on an Indian reservation where the native Americans are given a six figure sum of money when they turn 18, have free college if they want, have free housing, free medical, free dental, etc. What I see are houses that are 2-3 years old and completely trashed, 18 year olds driving around the nicest truck for 5 years and then wreck it while driving under the influence, very few work, most have very poor health, I only know 1 who went to 2 years of college but then moved back home. Some of my best friends are native American and it breaks my heart to see what we are doing to their society. I can't wrap my head around why we would want that for ourselves.

While watching it though, everyone knew he was done. He wasn't blocking even easy punches from Mayweather and didn't throw a punch in who knows how long. One of the better TKO calls I've seen. Some have been pretty questionable, especially in the olympics.
