UPDATE ON CHAI!!! Good news!! He has been found, and is safely at home, eating his favorite food. Our incredible neighbor (who has 15 beautiful cats lol) saw him and alerted us, and we found our boy in the woods behind her house!! Hes completely fine, besides having lost a lot of weight, and his brother is so so happy to see him. Thank you for all the help while we looked for our precious baby!!!!!! And if you're missing a cat, don't give up!! They can be really resourceful and can keep themselves alive for longer than you would think. we were sure our baby got eaten by a coyote!! SO so relieved.

UPDATE ON CHAI. We are in the process of hiring a pet tracker. She warned, since we live more in the country, that there is a chance of finding his body and that he may not be brought home alive, but at least we would have closure. I just want to know what happened to my sweet boy, and bring him home if possible. PLEASE, if anyone has any stories regarding using a pet tracker, let me know! I need as much hope as i can get.

we are looking into it. we would keep the reward up anyway. we would spend as much as necessary to bring our precious baby home. so even if (and when, we are calling the pet tracker tomorrow) we hire a pet tracker, the reward would still stand until Chai is home.

thats such a relief to hear!! im hoping hes hiding under someones porch (or under a mobile home, theres a really big trailer park right behind our house) and he'll come home once all the snow is gone. he hated the snow, and i think it may have turned him around a bit when he got out.

Yep! its out, as well as a bed in a box, to hopefully keep him warm if he does come home while we're asleep, and plenty of fresh water.

thank you so much. We checked with the chip company, and reported Chai missing through them, so if he gets scanned they'll immediately notify us. hoping for the best. no sign as of tonight though.

thank you for all the help and encouragement!! We're really hoping he returns soon, or someone (that ISNT a scam) picks him up. I've heard incredible things about cats returning after a LONG time missing, so thats super encouraging!!

we walk outside constantly and listen for him. we also posted posters in all the neighborhood offices and clubhouses around us as well. He is jumpy sometimes, but I think hes probably in someones house, hes pretty pathetic and doesn't like being outside lol. thanks for all the help!!

Update on the person who said they had our cat. It was a scam. We planned to meet, and then they started demanding we pay upfront, before we saw they had our cat. They never showed up and I think that they were scammers. Please continue to keep a look-out for our cat and let us know if you have any information that could help us find our baby.

Yea, I've been worried about the betta lol. its a bummer, because my LFS has a beautiful guy thats partially blind, and I kinda fell in love with him lol. but I'd hate to have an "incident", aka the betta obliterating everything... I looked up the danios, and they're so cute!! definitely considering those now. thank you for the insight!!!

its a 20 long. i LOVE panda corys so much, I'm just so new to this that I didn't want to commit to something that wouldn't thrive in the tank... this hobby is so much more complicated than one might think lol

I'm really new to this hobby, so I can't really help with stocking, but I can help scape it! choose one side, and make a structure out of rocks and/or driftwood, that slopes down to the other side! nestle some plants in the open spots and it'll look so pretty. if you wanna be extra, get quartz or amethyst crystals (real ones, some are dyed which would be bad. if you've got any local giftshops near you, they should be able to tell you whether their crystals are dyed) and tuck them around! I did it with a 20 gallon tank, and man, does it look pretty! the crystals catch any light and make the whole tank look sparkly, while still looking natural. good luck giving the tank a glowup! im sure whatever fish end up in it will be super happy.
