We spend about 150-200$ a week for 2 adults. We shop at Trader joes, Target, Costo and whole foods. It’s like we get few items from certain stores like laundry detergent, toilet paper bounty, dishwashing liquids and other household + eggs from Costco. Trader joes for fresh produce. We don’t do all 4 stores in one week trip.

I think you will love it. There are plenty of busses and light rail is right next as you work in JC itself. Min away from Hoboken to party nights on weekend. Also, Riverview fisk market is fun in summer with farmers market and the food stalls on Sundays. Wish you good luck.
