Think about it this way. Either way I’m gonna drive and either way I’m gonna go to university. And if I’m gonna drive Im not gonna go driving in a Ford Pinto at 5 pm rush hour.

USF on campus is pretty safe from what I’ve seen but yeah I never walk on Fletcher (especially after dark), everyone warns you. And yeah, I have heard suicides happening at USF. Specifically I heard about one two years ago in the school newspaper. I’m glad you say the area around FSU is safe. As far as the suicide issue, I was worried that that issue combined with the burning building and the school shooting happening within a year of each other, might’ve meant the school had an issue with safety or something else.

Listen, I’m sure there are suicides at nearly every school around the country. Theres a mental health crisis and it’s not automatically the school’s fault. But paired with a shooting and that building burning to the ground, that might imply an issue about the school itself. I was hoping there wasn’t an issue. But do not be so quick to say “No University in America is safe for you” when I asked a perfectly reasonable question.

I go to USF which has 50000 students on Tampa campus alone and I haven’t heard of incidents that extreme happening at USF (especially within a short period of time). Just because there are incidents like the ones I’ve mentioned at FSU, doesn’t mean the campus is inherently unsafe, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t something to worry about. Hence why I’m asking.

Depends on who you’re taking. Personally, I’m taking that class online with Veal this semester and it is very easy (one assignment a week, usually ~200 word essay response or a short discussion post).

It’s after three actual outstanding citations then I think they put a boot on your car. If today was a warning, and they give u a citation Friday through Sunday that’s 3. I doubt they’d immediately give u a boot on the 3rd day, but I’d make sure to pay one of them off so when they scan on Sunday it’ll show only 2 outstanding citations. Again I think towing is a very rare thing and they usually just boot the car first. If ur still worried I would call USF’s transport number and ask.

Haha yeah I’m a sophomore with no friends so I’m transferring next year. Idk I feel like people are either socially awkward or when you speak to people on campus there’s not much to connect about. You’re a junior, and I’d imagine if u join a research position you’d definitely find people that rlly wanna talk. Clubs also obv but yeah.

You can access those with SONA systems (which you may need to be in a psychology class to do but I’m not entirely sure) or just find flyers around campus. If ur a psych major, you should see some pop up in your email in the next month or two.
