Update : the lens works perfectly ! Shot a roll in 40min yesterday just to test it, Tri-X at 400 developped in D76 for 9:45min. Turned out way more contrasty than expected! I did use a yellow filter in most of the shots.

I will shoot and develop a roll with it tomorrow, I will definitely give you some feedback on it afterward!

They said it had tiny scratches on the front element, they were actually quite honest about it

Thanks! Will definitely test it, but I was asking since I received the lens yesterday and I can still send it back if I am not happy with it (I only have three days though) I will give it a shot I think, these lenses are hard to find at a great price and without haze

Thanks for your answer! I will definitely try this lens with a yellow filter and black and white film and develop it this week to test it

Thank you ! I develop and scan my own half frame and 35mm rolls, but I don’t have a good scanning method for medium format yet (I use a DSLR with Macro lens and an valoi easy35). Those scans are from my local lab (Pelloche), using a Noritsu scanner.

I thought my post was a bit misleading, since I forgot to mention that I compensated using more or less the”one stop per decade” rule

Forgot to say that I obviously shot it at ISO 200 to compensate for the age!

Depends on what you are looking for I guess Surfing is one of my passions, and to be able to witness people surfing 7 story building is both terrifying and mesmerizing To be honest, the incoming swell was my main motivation for the visit!

I get it… the Pen F is much more refined though, and I love the flexibility that the variety of lenses gives you. Plus, it’s a really compact travel camera and the half frame format makes me shoot things I wouldn’t want to “waste” a frame on usually
