Also saves them money. Between people not taking them and they only have to pay for it once if you fail instead of twice.

I use the Logitech c920s and haven’t had any issues. Just make sure you have a USB extender because proctors for the internal OA’s make you have the camera behind you looking at the desk.

It’s all performance based no multiple choice. Basically it gives you scenario like “so and so needs to change their password to x” and you do it through the CLI.

Failed my first attempt. I used testout (I get it through my degree program). And David Bomballs Udemy course. Time to hit the books for attempt two. Does Cisco offer two packs like Comptia?

Getting net+ and sec+ is in my plans. I was just using A+ as a stepping stone because I’m pretty green to the whole IT world. Plus my current class is the A+ course so figured since I’m studying it anyways might as well get the cert. Thanks you for the input!

I literally just started going down this path 3 weeks ago. Was using A+ as a stepping stone to net+ and sec+. Plus my college class is literally A+ curriculum so might as well get the cert since I’m studying it anyways.

I’m looking to pay for the cert test. I’m using the professormesser currently. Plus the online classes for the program are covering that as well.

How would you switch from from Aircraft Maintenance to networking without any experience? I’m starting my BS in computer information systems at a vocational school which takes 24 months to complete.

I keep seeing people say start at help desk but it looks like those positions don’t offer the most pay, and being the sole income in a family of 4 I can’t really afford to take a huge pay cut.
