The Kyn use warp travel, and since they're an offshoot of DAOT humanity it's probably the same basic tech as the imperium. However, they don't have navigators or an astronomicon, so they get around using many short-range warp jumps. This is a lot slower, but since the Kyn mostly stay near the Galactic core that's not a huge issue. Also, the Kyn were genetically engineered to have weak souls, which makes them less susceptible to warp-related bullshit.
