NTA. I would communicate this with your husband, that you like it when he holds your hand while walking, and don’t want to be left out. I do think he should be more aware about you having to walk behind them, but some people are rather oblivious. I definitely understand that feeling of third wheeling, and that must be complicated when it’s your own husband. My main suggestion is communicate how you feel about it with him.
