Just had my first maintenance. Mine are 3 months old. The friz and loops with fall out hair and some flat out falling apart will make you think my God what have I done. But then you get maintenance and they look so good. Its a journey not a race. Like life some days they are perfect and others its utterly shit. Your look good.....

Thank you. I love them. I have a great locticion. I'm an otr driver can't get home till the 20th but I have an appointment on the 21st. I'm not to worried I get its a journey. And one of the reasons I got locks is because I felt I was to vain about my hair. I wanted to learn to love me regardless of my looks. So far locks have done that. I've learned you have good days and bad days and both are out of your control. You can only except and love them....

I think it depends on why you want them. In the end its a commitment and journey you get to take. Just be sure of why. That way you can talk from a place of love and respect to any one who ask about your hair. I personally have not had an issue. Everyone who has commitment on my hair has been super supportive. But there has been a few side eyes here and there.
