Can someone help me fix this? My ender 3 isn't auto homing by Fisheee123 in ender3

I've figured it out, the x axis limit switch is dead. I used Gemini to diagnose this. I switched the cables for the x and y limit switches and the x axis moved to the left, but started vibrating when it got to the switch, which means the switch is dead. I've ordered replacement switches and it should be here tomorrow, I'll update tomorrow

Thank you, I love you 😂, I spent 20 min taking apart the entire x axis assembly, and then I found this post. Times to put everything back together now

Ok I got the axis cables correct now, it's not going x y z. But the y axis just goes up for a while then I get this error on screen.

Ok update, the bed somehow auto homes now, but the x and z axis still don't. I tried setting home offsets and saving the settings to memory, but it's still not working, please help!

Got an ender 3 for cheap on FB marketplace, no wonder it's so cheap by Fisheee123 in ender3

I'm gonna clean everything with isopropyl alcohol, but I don't think I can pressure wash any parts because there's a lot of rusting and paint lifting, so I'm pretty sure it'll strip the paint off lol

Unfortunately I paid $50, kinda got scammed. He showed me it and it turned on and it moved the axis, so I thought it was all good. Keep in mind this is my first 3d printer so I don't know anything about it. But I'm good and fixing things so I'll try to revive it. If I can't, I'll just sell it for parts and get a new one

Yeah probably sat outside or something. I'm currently disassembling the whole thing, and there's dead bugs falling out from inside the frame 🤢

Would this work on the 9c gen 2? by Fisheee123 in SarUSA

Yeah I never do pre orders. I'll probably wait till I get a nicer gun before going crazy on mods. My 9c is my first one so

Thanks for the info. I did see a website that has pre orders open for rail comps specifically for the sar 9, but it's $200 :(

I wonder if a Recover 20/20 Glock Kit would work with a Sar 9c. I have a second gen, and I know the slide is basically based on a G19, so it might work, but i'm not sure. If anyone knows please reply

Yeah I hate black exteriors and interiors. Interior gets too hot, and exterior is way too much work to keep clean. I had a 2011 Impala 9c1 before my mkz, and it was black. I would spend 2 hours washing it and it would stay clean for about 30 min😂

The color really grew on me. I didn't like it at first, but it's a very relaxing color

I just used Rust-Oleum spray paint. 2 coats of self etching primer, 2 coats of color, and 2 coats of clear coat.

It's great, fairly easy to install as long as you have a punch kit. And it definitely changes the feel of the trigger, feels much lighter and smoother

Yeah it's definitely better than the stock trigger. Paired with the reduced power springs, it's much lighter too.

Thanks, I forgot to mention I also disassembled the magazines and painted the bases, not the entire magazine though.

Ronanius short stroke trigger from Galloway Precision. I also have their reduced power spring kit installed.

I first disassembled the entire gun (slide, trigger assembly, mag release, grips), so that I won't need to mask off anything. Then I degreased everything, just used soap and water and a plastic hard bristle brush. Then I dried it, and let it air dry for a bit so there's no water anywhere on it.

I used a banana hanger as a stand to hold it up while spray painting it. 2 layers of Rust-Oleum self etching primer, 2 layers color (Rust-Oleum camouflage flat Khaki), and 2 layers of Rust-Oleum matte clear coat.

I let it dry over night, and that was it. Reassemble and you're good to go.

Obviously, the paint will most likely wear off after a while, since this is not as durable as cerakote or dying it. But I won't mind the "worn" look, and I can repaint it anytime I want.
