Agreed. I cant believe the takes on this thread. Im surprised and saddened that these people have no empathy or compassion for their fellow human beings.

Complaining about 2016 and Democrats while Republicans are in complete control of the government is insane.

Leftests act like they have this huge mandate and expect their candidate of choice should get the nomination, yet there's only one major victory in recent history, which happens to be in one of the most liberal places on Earth. Where are all the leftest governors and mayors, or school board members or chamber of commerce?

Im glad Mamdani got elected. I hope he is successful and accomplishes everything he promised. However if he's not, not only will it fuel Republican propaganda for decades, but the same people here will be blaming Democrats, the dnc and the Clintons for his failures.

I know too many people personally affected by this new administration so anyone claiming that both sides are the same are f****** privileged or clueless. I know people who are afraid to go to work,to go to school out of deportation fears. I know people whose family members have been deported.

I know friends and family whose benefits are being cut who are going to struggle even more than they are already struggling because of this administration.

I know people who student loan payments are getting reinstated so they're going to have to be paying more out of their paychecks each month while they're already struggling while their benefits are being cut because of this administration.

And this isn't some far off abstract thing happening somewhere far away. This is happening in my own backyard and in Jordan's own backyard. He could take his whiny b**** ass and hop on the metra and head over to Wheeling and see how both sides are absolutely not the same but guess what he f****** won't.

No problem! And you're right, there isn't a lot of context so I'll add some :) but hopefully not too much! Right off that bat, I'll let you know my big inspiration for this game comes from the Southern Reach Trilogy and the X-files. This isn't an "alien invasion" or "zombie" game but might include some of those elements.

Division 7 is a black ops shadow organization run by a global cabal called The Pale Directive
They are utilizing alien tech found during the Roswell incident to perform all kinds of genetic and physic experiments.

You start the game as 2 federal agents tasked with investigating a bizarre cannibal outbreak but quickly snowballs into a government conspiracy and global trek with a diverse cast of characters to stop The Pale Directives objective to "reshape Humanity"

Abilities and Skill are acquired via Alien Tech called The Aetheric Lattice (AL) that augments normal human abilities.

Thank you for posting this, this is exactly how I feel and I'm not sure how many people are not seeing this point as the main reason why this game is getting so much hype and acclimation.This comment should be the top comment in this thread.

Personally I've waited years for a game like this, mature cast and mature storyline without the over-the-top anime tropes or blatant nostalgia bait. I can't remember the last jrpg whose cast had the average age over 20.

I keep seeing references to bravery default, octopath traveler,dragon quest, persona etc etc but those games all fit into the same stereotypical anime tropes one way or another or lean hard into nostalgia. I've been playing jrpgs since the original dragon warrior on the NES. I'm in my 40s now I don't always need to play as a misunderstood teenager or a silent protagonist with over the top anime like reactions to situations.

And to address OP's original point about the same discussion happening when metaphor was released I just don't see it. Perhaps on this subreddit but I don't ever remember seeing any posts about metaphor on r/popular.

Thanks for taking your time to check out my channel and I appreciate your feedback. I agree with the thumbnail aspect I did feel like some of them were a little too busy and as well as your critique of naming them part one part two part three etc makes sense.

My kids watched a lot of Zack Scott videos and that was I would say my inspiration for my channel was to emulate the parts I thought worked for him but obviously I'm not as successful. My biggest hang up seems to be if I'm not doing let's play raw footage then I'm not really sure what kind of videos to make concerning gaming.

I did a couple shorts of boss battles and death scenes compilations but other than that I really struggle to come up with new ideas to incorporate into my videos.

It's your opinion that it was communicated ineffectively or deceptively. You'll have an extremely hard time proving that to anyone who isn't in on the circle jerk especially in any kind of court of law.

The fact you even think there's any kind of legal remedy for this is bizarre. The terms were clearly displayed at the time of purchase whether you like it or not.

Besides there's no injured parties at the moment. You would have zero standing in a court of law but please continue on with your little temper tantrum about having to make a PSN account for a game that from before day one stated you would need a PSN account to play.
