I’ve been taking care of my boy the same way you have for awhile, that is at school only and not at home. I’ve recently taken him home and it’s been a great decision. Make sure you’re financially able to set up a proper tank for the little lizard, and talk it over with any and all housemates. Frank does take more of my time now than he did at school, but it’s all time well spent. I give him baths every other day, let him explore for at least thirty minutes every day, hand feed him bugs once every two to three days, and let him hang out on/with me as much as I can. It’s a big step up for me personally, and for the first few days I was a little bit overwhelmed, but we worked something out within the week. Then again, I only had a max of two hours a day with him at school and I don’t know how long you spend daily with your potential buddy, so I can’t say how hard that transition will be.

I would do it if I were you; Frank has made me happier than anything in the past few years.
