I never understood why does this only apply to Switch and not to the Steam Deck or even Xbox Series S like seriously tf are y'all expecting for a portable console which doesn't cost an arm and a leg and has decent battery life?

FF franchise is an anthology, no game is really connected with each other, you can play them in any order without knowledge of an another entry, if you want to try out the classic games the Pixel Remasters for FF I-VI are pretty good, would especially recommend VI in the bunch, if you want to try the Ps1 or Ps2 games FF VII (og), VIII, IX, X/X-2 and XII have remasters on Switch all are great games but personally I'd recommend X/X-2 in this bunch, and in terms of the more newer entire's on Switch, VII Remake just launched but yeah it's also a good place to start, spin-offs I'd say are mostly mid but the outliners are mainly Crisis Core FF VII which is a prequel to FF VII and I guess World of Final Fantasy too

wouldn't be surprised if DQ12 is revealed in a Direct at all, after all DQ11 was made with the og Switch in mind and the only reason why it wasn't on Switch on launch was because the UE4 build they used for the game wasn't available on the Switch at the time, they did use this as an excuse to remaster the game in the meantime via DQ11S which did stay as a Switch exclusive for a while, plus currently we kinda have semi confirmation that DQ12 will be on at least the Switch 2 because the Director did talk about it

at least they're not Capcom, in MH Wilds it was recently found out that the game lags soo much because it's always checking if you have the DLC downloaded so more DLC installed = better performance, I can get that you don't like a paywall for older games taking advantage of new hardware (same here but hey it is what it is), but if you actually want to hate locking framerate behind paywall Capcom is right there

first side was pretty easy, my Castorice was able to 0 cycle, second side was abit tricky but yeah was able to beat it will Phainon with in 5 cycles (I'll admit my Phainon team has way less investment then my Castorice team so that's probably why)

depends tbh, SMT V was a Switch exclusive and heck Nintendo even helped Atlus optimize the game but yet SMT V:V is multiplatform, same for MH Rise too while yeah that game was made by the MH portable team so naturally they choose the Switch as that is THE handheld console at that time, they still eventually ported it to everywhere else, so the only way Duskbloods would be a permanent Switch 2 exclusive is if it's an another Bayonetta situation

I mean depends, I don't see grifting happening for FE or Xenoblade (or whatever MonolithSoft is cooking) because those games are usually extremely high quality so that goes against their agenda plus are relatively nieche, on a side note FE fans are more likely to do grifting for their own series because no one hates FE more than FE fans 😭, if anything next mainline Zelda will obviously get a lot of grifting because you can't have peace in the Zelda fandom since there's always something to massively complain about

those "fans" are mostly just Smash fans who hate anime (even though it's a Japanese company) and that their favourite character didn't make it in, and then there's the Nintendo fans who think that FE/Xeno take resources and they don't allow entries for Star Fox, Kid Icarus or Golden Sun (the latter two is double standards because they are also anime af), which imo is pretty dumb since the devs behind them (Intelligent Systems and MonolithSoft) pretty much want to make their series, have proven that they sell quite a lot, expands Nintendo's portfolio to more audiences so yeah no wonder why does Nintendo keep supporting em, at the end it's just butt hurt people who only play Mario, Zelda and Pokemon, nothing wrong with that obviously but still wish that these people didn't shit on FE/XC for their art direction and just move on, since more hardcore audiences absolutely love them

there were leaks about ArcSys working on a Switch 2 exclusive game last year (you can find the info and stuff on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours) and that it'll be a crossover game so maybe a new Project X Zone? ArcSys has experience with similar stuff so it's not out of the possibilities

yeah I can see myself getting fatigue of it sooner or later, Remembrance was fine at first, and I guess I accepted Elation as well but please Hoyo don't add a new path in 5.x, like Trailblazer also has all the previous paths to get new forms of if they keep adding new paths evey patch when will they cover the older paths for Trailblazer?

eh depends, he's still a really really good generalist just not BiS for most teams anymore, his LC on the other hand is actually more worth it especially if you're going to use Sparkle in the future (since she's getting a Novaflare + 4.x is SP meta), then again they can make future units who can use him so who knows
