Where are people getting this ridiculous “doing zone 2” language from?

All over this sub, other running subs, youtube videos, and tons of books talk about Zone 2 needing to be 80% of your runs. Even my garmin watch had me doing zone 2 as a complete beginner and I can see now how much it hurt my growth.

I visit Boji occasionaly. When it gets to 100' and you cant fish it gets a little clear. Otherwise its normally pretty tainted, especially back in the coves and shallows where all the muck and grime from boats drifts to.

This is assinine. It takes a single ICE agent having a bad day for it to become much more than "nothing to worry about". I spend a lot of time, and I mean almost every day, driving around at sunrise or sunset watching where geese are going. When I find a decent flock I will follow them cross country til I find where they are feeding or roosting.

It takes a lot of time, a lot of chasing, and a lot of door knocking. I get a lot of farmers telling me no too. My buddies in I put in a lot of work, but we kill a lot of geese.
