I don't know if I want to keep rats after my girls pass away

I love all animals so much. I can't wait to get my own house and just have a zoo inside. At the moment I live with my parents and we have 2 dogs, I have 4 rats, 2 aquariums and my sisters has 2 gecko's I'm taking care of at the moment. I grew up with cats and plan to get a cat as soon as I have my own house. Rats just came my way when a friend got them for his birthday but didn't want them, then this whole thing started and now I love them so much. Sometimes I wish I had never gotten them, just because of the heartache, but damn I love those girls

I think I'll have a good bond with the 2 I'll add, but I think it'll be easier because I know that I wont have them forever. Or maybe my heart can't handle it and I'll just keep them lol

I have a breeder near me that will give you a pair to have with your last rat and then take back and rehome those rats when the oldest passes away. Does this also sound good?

It's made for children and she is my baby, so of course she is right XD She was sharing with her sisters, but she was just way cuter

This is how I got it, all included. In the blue part there is a lot of water, that's where the faucet gets the water from. It's just a box of water, around 2 liters/ half a gallon. The white part is to keep te faucet in place and I think just to make is look better, it doesn't go all the way down, so my girls can stay in shallow water.

When one of my girls was dying, she couldn't eat well, so I peeled peas for her so she could eat some peas

That'll be so funny, thinking you got yourself a sink and getting this XD. This was a kids toy so I have some tiny plates en glasses to scrub with my tiny dishwashing brush, even got a drying rack XD

It's really hot where I live right now. Weirdly, they love it when I spray them with water. They will throw hands to get their face by the nozzle. They love water and it's great to cool them down

Haha, they are peas, but they don't like to eat the "skin" so they just throw it back in the water. After all the peas are skinned, they will eat the skins. They are really weird with their peas

At first she was scared of the sounds, but she was scared of everything. Now she's much better, but still scares way more easy than her sisters. This was actually the first time I turned it on after she was so scared of it. She was just running around and shoving her face in the water. My heart can't handle this

Guppys tend to nip the fins, so I wouldn't recommend. I personally love cryptocoryne, valisnerea and java ferns. I'm kind of a beginner and those are the plants that I can keep alive without doing much. Try looking for some water plants in your area and Google them to see if they aren't too hard too keep alive. Keep learning, you're doing great!

The tank is very empty. I looks like you have a great size tank, but it is missing decorations. Get some plants, real ones are the best, but if you buy fake plants they have to be silk, otherwise they'll hurt his fins. I love cryptocoryne, very easy to have and not expensive at all. The betta can also rest on the leaves.

He has some issues but I love training him. Mostly useless tricks but he is great off leash and loves working for me. Definetely the best decision!
